Private Skating Lessons

To book a weekly lesson with one of our coaches for the 2025-26 season, please complete this form:

Lessons will be allocated around the 2nd & 3rd week of October. Lessons will start once the rink is open in November and run until the rink closes in March.

One-off lessons may be available depending on instructor availability once the ice rink is open - email Ksidwell@chevychaseclub.org with your skater's name, age, level, and when they are available to take a lesson.

Private Lesson Information & Policies

Lessons are for members only, guests can join a members lesson, maximum of two skaters in a lesson.

• Lessons are generally 30minutes but can be 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60mins
• Lessons are on a weekly basis unless otherwise indicated by the instructor or director. If you are in a regular weekly scheduled lesson and miss 3 or more weeks you may lose this lesson slot.
• Lessons must be canceled at least 24hrs before the start of the lesson to avoid being charged
• Lessons canceled by the rink or instructor will not be charged.
• Semi-private lessons can accommodate up to 2 skaters, one of whom may be a guest. Semi-private lessons will be charged as a private lesson when one skater has canceled 24hrs before the lesson. Semi-private lessons will remain split-charged if one skater is a no-show.
• Lessons can only be done during general skate and figure skating sessions - hockey sticks and pucks are prohibited during these sessions so as to avoid injury to other skaters.

Private Lesson Fees

Private lesson (1 skater) instructor rates for 30minutes: $42-$50 / 30mins

Semi-private lesson (2 skaters) instructor rates for 30minutes: $63-$75 / 30mins
