Advanced Figure Skate Classes
For Skaters who have passed Pre-Free Skate and up. Please read each class description for class pre-requisites as some classes are very advanced.
When & Where
Classes are held weekly at the Club ice rink on the day and time you select during registration.
Equipment
Skaters should wear weather appropriate skating clothing including gloves.
Low & High Elite Classes skaters will require athletic running shoes for off-ice part of the class
Cost
Classes are $300 for the season.
This will be billed in December to your membership account.
Useful Information
Free Skate 1 & 2
This class overs both Free Skate 1 & 2 curriculums. Skaters must have taken Pre-Free Skate or Free Skate 1 previously. Meets weekly for 30 minutes. Cost $300
Free Skate 3, 4 & 5
This class overs Free Skate 3, 4 & 5 curriculums. Skaters must have taken Free Skate 2, 3 or 4 previously. Meets weekly for 30 minutes. Cost $300
Low - Power & Edge Class
30 minutes of on ice instruction working on edges, power, turns, control and posture. Skaters must have passed Pre-Free Skate. Meets weekly for 30 minutes. Cost $300
High - Power & Edge Class
30 minutes of on ice instruction working on edges, power, turns, control and posture. Skaters must have passed Free Skate 5 AND USFS Pre Preliminary Skating Skills Test. Meets weekly for 30 minutes. Cost $300
Advanced Jump & Spin
Skaters must have taken at least Free Skate 5 previously and be able to land a lutz jump. Meets weekly for 30 minutes. Cost $300
Low - Elite Figure Skating Program
30 minutes on ice, followed by a 30minutes off-ice in the fitness center dance studio.
Skaters must have passed Pre-Free Skate. Meets weekly for 30 minutes. Cost $400
High - Elite Figure Skating Program
30 minutes on ice, followed by a 30minutes off-ice in the fitness center dance studio.
Skaters must have passed Free Skate 5 AND the USFS Preliminary Skating Skills Test. Meets weekly for 30 minutes. Cost $400
